He has also taken residencies in Craniofacial Pain at University of Florida, an advanced esthetic continuum at Louisiana State University, and has amassed over 350 hours of orthodontic training. He is a select member of the Central Florida Occlusal Study Club, which receives lectures from the nation’s best dental educators and promotes sharing of cutting-edge dental technology and techniques. Thorough examination and diagnosis The examination process begins by first listening to our patient’s problems and desires. Time is necessary to examine the mouth thoroughly utilizing digital radiographs (x-rays) in lieu of conventional x-rays. This means less radiation is required and images can be viewed instantly on a high-resolution monitor. Through computerization, views of the teeth can be magnified and studied with color, texture, and varying degrees of density to identify even the earliest problems. We use these x-rays in conjunction with a thorough oral examination to diagnose dental and cosmetic problems. In some cases, Diagnodent decay-finding instrumentation, digital photography, or model-assisted evaluations are also utilized when needed. In addition, a virtual “tour of the mouth” may be made under magnification with dialogue demonstrating problems that are not otherwise easy to see. Your examination “tour” is placed on a DVD for your future review during your consultation visit.  For us, your examination is just the beginning.
